Introducing Spirit of Healing Virtual Red Road Meeting

                                                                 

TeleWell is committed to providing culturally relevant interventions and support. We are excited to offer to TeleWell participants, meetings they can access online. Participants in our program, and in fact, any participant in any IHS clinic MAT program, will be able to access a Red Road Recovery meeting through telemedicine. The meetings will be held on Fridays, once a week, and will be easy to access through a confidential link provided when the patient signs up for the meetings.

The meetings will integrate White Bison Medicine Wheel Teachings with other Native approaches to wellness and recovery. We believe these cultural traditions and teachings are critical to our Native MAT population and will provide a rich framework for participants’ personal experience of recovery.

The meetings topics will include:

• 16 week courses with certificate of completion

• Introduction to Spirit of Healing online InTheRooms platform

• Native Cultural Identity, relevance and importance for indigenous SUD recovery

• White Bison Medicine Wheel Teachings & 12-Step approach

• Psycho-education OUD treatment and recovery maintenance skills development
